In collaboration with Universia, the first edition of Lúdica was launched, the first videogame contest created with the goal of developing creativity among university youth in order to strengthen basic education. The core theme was the strengthen of mathematics knowledge, specifically fractions.
Fundación Telefónica invited us to the first education meeting aimed at teachers, didactic coordinators and experts in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) that are part of the “Aulas Fundación Telefónica” project. Our participation was on July 24th, 2012 at the NH Hotel in the Zona Rosa (Pink Zone), Mexico City. Through this program, during the 2012-2013 schoolcycle, the 39 public schools in Mexico that are currently in this project will be able to use our videogames as one of the programs that Fundación Telefónica offers them.
“Classrooms are a pedagogic model of formation and continuous accompaniment for teachers that intends to consolidate a virtual educative community (Red del Educador, Educator Network) that gives as result a colaborative work among teachers in 13 Latinamerican countries, because they know each other and get in touch, share contents and belong in thematic groups”.
Aflatoun is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) with presence in over 100 countries and in contact with over 2 million children.
